His song Lover on Her Mind, from his second album, A Whiskey Way of Thinkin’ charted at #1 for 3 weeks on Nashville’s VRadio with several other songs charting in the Nashville top 20.
Terry Keplinger and The Fifty-Buck Band perform more than 150 shows a year in the Western United States and he has just completed his 10th year of producing The Bakersfield Country Music Awards show. The only west coast country music award show, show casing the best country music on the west coast!
Terry is a homegrown Kern County Honky Tonkin’ native following in his father footsteps as a bass player and outstanding performer. His traditional country style is influenced by Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, George Jones & George Strait with a side of county fried rock-n-roll.
